OSMOSIS PERFORMING ARTS CO.

Founded by Euripides Laskaridis in 2009, the OSMOSIS performing arts company is a supportive pool of artists who come together in differing combinations from project to project.
osmosis [ɒzmˈə‍ʊsɪs] a process where liquid molecules push through a membrane to equalise both sides / the reciprocal influence of two opposed elements / a gradual spread – or unconscious assimilation – of ideas and knowledge / a subtle mingling / from the ancient Greek ōsmos – “a thrust through”
OSMOSIS explores everyday life – the little details, the collective subconscious, the imaginary, and the absurd – with the company’s gaze fixed firmly on unexpected slants of the human condition. OSMOSIS works flirt with transformation – often into the ridiculous, the humorous and the grotesque – in the belief that this territory can offer startling insights into deeper truths.
