Kalttak is an artistic collective based in Athens, composed by scenographers, painters and choreographers (Maria Knafl, Fivos Thanos, Katerina Delakoura, Fani Skoulikidi). Their well – rounded interests include visual arts, scenography, costume design, masks, marble sculpting, ceramics, dance, performance etc. They combine different mediums, materials and techniques with a bold aesthetic, creating a space where the rational and the irrational coexist, allowing new unexpected narratives to arise. Currently, they are developing “LOOMLOOP”, a 60-minute video, and a corresponding community-based workshop, made in the context of a living mural, featuring 40 different people, creating a mosaic of narratives, images and patterns of human behavior.
